What your findings look like

Your billing processes, checked against what a well-run revenue cycle should have in place.

Top three priorities
  1. Implement a denial escalation ladder.
  2. Establish daily deposit reconciliation.
  3. Move eligibility verification ahead of the visit.

Sample system shown, anonymized. Statuses show whether each billing control is clearly defined and documented. Continuity is scored separately, so a process can work well today and still be a single point of failure.

How it works

  1. Intake callWe talk through what prompted this, what you're seeing, and what you suspect. About 30 minutes.
  2. Access and agreementsWe sign a Business Associate Agreement, and you set me up with a read-only user account in your system under my own name.
  3. I reviewI go through your reports, aging, denials, posting, and workflows, and figure out what's actually happening.
  4. Findings and action planI write up what I found and what to do about it, in priority order.
  5. Review sessionWe walk through all of it together. Everything is yours to keep.

How I work with your data

To review your revenue cycle properly, I need to see it. Here's exactly what that involves, and what it never does.

  • A signed Business Associate Agreement before I access anything.
  • Read-only access under my own named user account. I can see; I can't change anything.
  • No shared staff logins, and no passwords belonging to your team.
  • No access to bank accounts, merchant accounts, or your money.
  • Access ends when the audit does.

Who this is for

A good fit if

  • Something feels off in your billing and you can't name it
  • Collections changed and nobody can explain why
  • Important billing knowledge depends on one or two people
  • You're about to hire or train a biller and want a clear starting point

Not the right fit if

  • You want ongoing billing done for you
  • You want software rather than a clear plan
  • You're not willing to grant read-only access to your system

Built by an optometrist who runs a practice, too

Dr. Kamri Best, optometrist and founder of 20/20 Revenue Solutions

I'm Dr. Kamri Best, a practicing optometrist and co-owner of an independent practice. I oversee billing in my own practice on RevolutionEHR, so I know the daily work firsthand: posting, denials, follow-up, and everything that slips when nobody owns it.

20/20 Revenue Solutions isn't a billing company. I don't take over your billing or earn a percentage of your collections. I help independent optometry practices build billing skill and systems they keep.

Start with a short call

We'll talk through what you're seeing and whether an audit, or the full onboarding program, is the right fit. If neither is, I'll tell you.
